During Gregg Popovich’s game 2 post-game presser, he was asked about the intentional fouling of Tiago Splitter by Thunder coach Scott Brooks, and whether that allowed the Thunder to get back into the game:

Maybe…I’ve never done that before. I think it’s a really lousy thing to do. It’s unsportsmanlike and—Nah, it’s a good move. If there’s a reason to do it, and they felt like there was a reason to do it, so they did it, so—um—it was a good move.”

Gregg Popovich is the perfect coach for our post modern world.
