“NBA owners finally budge with union on long-standing demands for a hard salary cap.”—
Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports via Twitter - This is a gigantic hurdle that has been crossed. With the owners backing down from their demand for a hard-cap, there is definitely some progress being made. The next step is agreeing on the “basketball related income” (BRI) split. Can they just settle on 50-50 and get moving on this thing?
